About the Photographs

Power Lines

This photograph was created in 2021 as part of a creative retreat with artist Kenzie Landis, who was still studying at Pace University. This image started a little differently from the final. As the shape evolved, the final goal became clear. The exceptional lines and confident look say it all. “Power Lines” also earned an Imaging Excellence award at the 2023 International Print Competition and a top-20 prize at the 2023 Pas de Deux Print Competition.

Sacred Geometry

Created in 2021 with Jillian Kerr, this image is a mutual favorite. The spiraling lines and physique speak volumes to the process of creation in dance. Additionally, “Sacred Geometry” earned a first-place award at the 2022 Pas de Deux Photo Competition and garnered a Merit in the 2022 International Print Competition.

Fine Art Photography

Andrew Bowen Studios’ goal is to help artists thrive. When a Fine Art Photo sells, 20% of the net proceeds go to the dancer to support their career.
